L200 clusters (updated)

More than a year ago we announced a new L200 model based on the idea of a set of clusters that will frame more accurately the L200 identity.

Today, almost 6 years after the birth of the motto that defined L200 in its first steps, "Was Ist Das?", we have concluded to five concrete areas of activities that more accurately characterize L200 today, as expressed in our new logo:

• Education
• Sustainability
• Neighbourhood
• Art
• Pop-up

As one might notice, there is a replacement of one of the five clusters since the first announcement of the new model: neighbourhood instead of co-working, as decided at GV2025.

The background of this change is that after the corona crisis, co-working at L200 has been declining, partly because of the high level of distructions and partly because of the difficulty to maintain such a small space operating both as an office and as a venue, with limited storage.

Moreover, the on-going professionalization of L200 puts a stress on the more social activities at the neighbourhood scale, and there is a need to stress and actively support this key role of the space.

Co-working is still an activity that takes place, but not as a guaranteed service, but as an option when the space is available for all L200's spaceholders at no cost.
